I ran double 5 milers on Monday. Same on Wednesday. My legs were tired from going back to back on Sunday-Monday and I still felt a bit slow on Wednesday morning. I decided not to run hard intervals on Wednesday with the club at the track. This was smart. My legs felt recovered and I ran OK (even though different shades of slow).
I want to do a 95% (not all out) two mile trial soon somwhere between 13:12 and 13:25. This indicates that I am in 20:02-20:22 shape. Not where I want to be but better than last year when I couldn't break 21 minutes.
