70 minutes and a cloud of sweat

I met up with Danny at WVC (after doing ten minutes in the neighborhood) and we ran a very easy 60 minutes throwing in walking breaks every ten minutes.  Not as hot as yesterday.

Another club member, Dez, joined us for the last half of the run. Turned out he is a friend of Nick Rose who I remember from the 1970's. He was a top collegiate runner in his day. That's him in the picture below getting smoked in the last mile by Prefontaine  in 1973.
