Another cool and sunny morning. It was in the low 40's so we (D and I) took our time warming up.
We ran sub tempo reps on the track. Believe me, it was nothing glorious. 8 x 400 at sub eight pace with a 200 meter walk-jog for recovery. Running 1:56-1:58 reps felt easy and smart. My right calf was tight but didn't bother me during the workout. I just wanted to play it safe.
Seven miles when all was totaled.
